Ancient Greek Geometric Bronze Bird & Vessel c.8th - 7th century B.C. Size 3-1/4 inches length. bird. 2-1/4 inches length. vessel. Two different bronze examples, including a hollow cast stylized bird pendant, having an integral suspension loop and a circular opening on both sides. Provenance: Ex Arte Primitivo 12-15-23 Lot 559 Ex; NYC collection. Ex. Fortuna Fine Arts, NYC.
Condition Report: Overall greenish-black surface patina. Intact. Together with a cast bronze vessel having opposing, perforated angular rim lugs and a stemmed base. Interior has an encrusted blue-green patina and scattered patina on the exterior. Some very minor rim roughness, otherwise intact.
