Plate. Hellenistic Period, 5th century BC Bronze. Measures: 4 x 16. 5 cm. Coming from an old Spanish collection, before 1980. Bronze plate of hemispherical shape with the flat edge excavated to the outside. In the lower part of the plate you can see a decoration in relief with a gallonade shape that join at a point located in the center of the piece. These types of vessels of more noble materials than ceramics were frequent in the trousseau that the upper class possessed. Provenance: The Supplier warrants that I obtained this lot legally.
