Ancient Greek, Magna Graecia Apulian ceramic collection of 5 vessels. 2 Olpe, 2 Kylix and a salt dish

Set of 5 apulian ceramic vessels conformed by:

- Fine apulian pair of ceramic olpes with a circular base, an apple-shaped body, a rounded shoulder, a squat neck with a flared rim, and an applied strap handle joining rim to shoulder. The entire vessels are coated with lustrous black-hued glaze. One of them with small nicks-material losses on the mouth ( see pictures) , otherwise good condition. 8,40 and 8,10 cm.

- Couple of apulian blackware kylix ( cup for drinking wine) presenting a traditional form comprised of a broad, shallow bowl and twin upraised looped handles, all upon a raised, tiered, concave pedestal. Some surface wear but excellent condition. 5,00 x 16,50 and 4,00 x 15,00 cm.

- An Apulian black glazed ceramic salt dish with ring foot, round and body. Some surface wear but excellent condition. 3,00 x 8,60 cm.

Provenance: French auction house. Formerly french private collection.

Notes: The pieces include authenticity certificate. The pieces are in process of obtaining the Spanish export licenses for the European Unión. This process can take between 2 and 4 weeks.
