Ancient Greek Style Terracotta Two-Handled Vessel
An antique terracotta two-handled vessel of ancient Greek or Greco-Roman style, featuring a rounded body, flared rim, twin handles and raised pedestal foot, with remnants of painted linear decoration and extensive surface patina and encrustation. An old handwritten collection label on the underside references “Corinthian” and “4 BC,” suggesting a prior attribution to ancient Corinthian pottery, though the age and attribution have not been independently authenticated. Measures: 5" H x 4-1/2" W. Provenance: From the Estate of Carmine Vito “Tod” Todisco (1930–2025), founder and CEO of Northern Plastics Corp., a Syracuse-area manufacturer specializing in fiberglass furniture and commercial products. Todisco was also a collector of cultural artifacts, antiques and art.
