Skyphos (drinking cup) , Late Corinthian, approx. 6th century B C, height 7 cm, length with handle 15 cm, diameter 11 cm Vessel made of cream-coloured clay, on a standing ring that has concentric circles at the base, two opposite horizontal handles. The wall is decorated with a three centimetre wide red stripe. Directly under the handle and on the lip, the black stripes are connected by vertical strokes. The interior is painted entirely red except for a clay-coloured circle in the middle. Condition: Two small shards have been inserted, no additions, otherwise in good condition.
