This pottery rhyton features a long tube flaring to its opening with a slightly everted rim, adorned at the other end with a bull protome exhibiting a tubular snout, applied eyes, majestic crescentic horns, and minuscule forelegs at the sides. Some restoration.
Rhytons were ceremonial vessels used for pouring liquids, often during religious rituals or feasts, symbolizing abundance and fertility in antiquity.
