This painting is a beautiful Lady of Sorrows by an unknown Italian artist. The work was relocated to a non-coeval frame, probably in the 19th century. Wood's lamp showed no major restorations. Marked craquelure and colour shortcomings, do not affect the charm of this touching Mother. Wood’s lamp did not show major restoration work.
