A fine Roman bronze antoninianus of Emperor Victorinus (ruler of the Gallic Empire from 269 to 271 AD) . The coin's obverse presents the radiated, draped and cuirassed bust of Victorinus facing right with the legend IMP C VICTORINVS P F AVG. The reverse features the god Sol (INVICTVS) advancing left, holding a whip in his left hand and raising his right. The legend reads INVICTVS.
