An outstanding roman bronze statuette of a seated musician playing the double phrygian tibia, dressed with boots and a short chiton clearing the right shoulder. The musician holds with his hands and blows in a double Phrygian tibia. Bronze with beautiful dark patina. (Iconography very rare, probably unique in bronze) . | Rome. 2nd Century AC. Condition Report: Excellent condition. Provenance: Pierre Bergé Auction House - Paris, France. Ex R. G. Private Collection - Luxemburg Notes: The piece includes authenticity certificate.
