Ancient Roman Bronze decorative Statuette of a Venus Anadyomene (from Greek, "Venus Rising From the Sea") , one of the iconic representations of the Goddess of love, beauty, desire, erotic and fertility. She is in a position of drying her hair with both hands lifted up immediately after getting out of the water. The Figurine reveals the most intime parts of the nude body of the goddess awakening eroticism and showing a significant part of the roman culture! A lovely style with a balanced proportions and masterfully curved body which gives the impression of a femminine erotic movement. Extremely rare in this absolutely intact condition with a nice natural olive green patina. Material: Bronze Date: 1st. Century BC.
