Ancient Roman Bronze Large Theater Actor with Spanish Import License statue

A very rare bronze statuette representing a theater actor in the role of a mendicant. It is probably adorned with a silene mask. It is animated by a slight movement of the torso in contrast with his crossed legs. The right hand forward stretches a token while the left hand is folded towards a purse held at the waist of the character. | Rome. 2nd-3rd Century A. C. \r
