Bronze Roman oil lamp. Elegant antique bronze lamp on a narrow ring-shaped base. The bowl is circular, deep, adorned with large gadroons outside. The filling hole is slightly raised. The spout is short, the end is curved. The reflector is partial. Dating: Roman Empire, circa 1st century AD. Length: 6. 8 cm - Bronze with brown-green dig patina. Information regarding the origin: Acquired on the 30th of October, 2019 in France, from: C. M. Auction, N°109. Origin: Famous collection - Joseph Altounian (1890-1954) - many works that are now in the greatest museums of the world passed through his hands.
