For sale is a beautiful Roman eagle figurine made of silver from antiquity.

Age: approx. 1st - 3rd century AD.

Size: height of the eagle 2. 7 cm, length 1. 95 cm and weight 11. 05 g.
Condition/Form: Very nicely preserved

Beautifully crafted figurine of an eagle with detailed decoration of the plumage on the front and back made of silver.
The surface has weathering marks with a beautiful patina.

Origin: From a more than 40-year-old antique collection, from a collection estate, acquired on the German art market.
