Connecting chains to create bracelets or necklaces is one of the oldest jewelry making techniques and appeared in various ancient cultures. The oldest example of a chain necklace was found in Babylonia in a royal tomb from around 2500 BC. The links can be adorned with precious, semi-precious stones, pendants, charms or glass of different colors to imitate precious stones.

Good condition and wearable. Restored with old beads, new professional materials and decorative spacer beads. All metal spacer beads, fasteners etc. are included. are new (gold plated) . Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
