Ancient Roman Glass decorated cosmetic bottle - 124×47×38 mm - (1)

Beautiful cosmetic bottle made of transparent glass of greenish color partially covered with a layer of iridescence. Pear-shaped bottle on a small flared circular foot with a tubular edge and curved under the base with a trace of pontil. A long tubular neck with an ovoid-shaped rumen that has a small outgrowth. A flared rim with two small zigzag handles that joins the shoulder. A thin spiral glass trail is present on the body of the vial. Date: Roman period, 3rd – 5th century A. D - Size: 124 x 47 x 38 mm -Material : Transparent glass of greenish colour partially iridescent. - Total weight: 47 g - Provenance: Belgian private collection, Madame B. by descendants of her grandfather. - Condition: Very good condition, intact, partially iridescent, presence of a mobile deposit of agglomerated residue in the bottom of the bottle.
