Ancient Roman Gold, Glass, Garnet and Carnelian Very Fine Earrings

A beautiful matching set of Roman gold earrings, displaying an intricate and elaborate design, consisting of two hollow gold central elements with garnet and carnelian cabochon insets, topped by three series of gold loops comprising gold wire and granulation decorations. Dropping from the central elements are a series of pendants with round glass beads and gold sheet pendants.
