Ancient Roman Gold and garnet Ring with Daisies and Garnet

The shank in a triple groove pattern with nicely modelled daisies in filigree work at the terminals on either side of the bezel. Round bezel decorated in fine granulation and filigree work forming scroll, the protruding centre set with a cabochon garnet. Exquisite.
