Roman bracelets with snake head decorations in very nice condition.

Age: approx. 2nd - 4th century AD.
Size: outer diameter approx. 7. 3 cm and 6. 6 cm, inner diameter 6. 4 cm - 5. 6 cm and total weight 71. 2 g.

Condition/shape: Very good condition (see pictures)

These two Roman bracelets made of solid cast bronze are not only beautiful, but also rarely seen. Probably created between the 2nd and 4th centuries AD, they represent a piece of Roman history captured in the form of artistic pieces of jewelry.

Each bangle is intricately decorated with snake head motifs emblazoned on both sides, which could carry a symbolic meaning of protection and wisdom. The snakes, which were considered guardians or spiritual guides, give the bangles a mystical aura and convey a sense of power and elegance.

Despite their age, these bangles are in a remarkably fine condition, which underlines their quality and the care with which they were preserved. The bronze still exudes a warm glow and the details of the snake head decorations are sharp and precise.

The bangles have a beautiful, dark green patina and are of very nice quality.
