DESCRIPTION:
Roman / 1st – 2nd cent. A. D. / Bronze / D = 6. 1 cm (2 13/3 in)

Beautiful omega fibula with oval ring tapering at either end, with moulded cross-section and bent-back, cone-shaped terminals. Riha Group 8, Type 8. 1.

CONDITION:
Intact, with fantastic turquoise patina.

PROVENANCE:
Swiss priv. coll. R. Bonsera, Basel, since 2005.
Purchased on the Swiss art market, Basel.
