A rare fragment of an architectural corner in green "Greek" porphyry, a famous porphyry of ancient times found in Greece, in the Laconia area, close to the city of Sparta; it was also called Serpentine Porphyry. It is easily recognisable by the presence of crystals of light green feldspar in an olive green matrix. Roman. 1st-3rd century A. D.
