Ancient Rome, Byzantine Lot of 4 antique rings (No Reserve Price)

4 antique rings.

- Two Roman rings (Adornatus, the ring of early times) . 1st century AD - 4th century AD
Bronze ring bridge and decoration with vitreous paste. Bronze ring with a flat hoop with decoration on the mount or head with elliptical blue vitreous paste and a central negative motif that resembles a bust. Body with green patina. Dimensions: 2 cm.
Bronze ring bridge. Dark bronze elliptical amset head or mount with negative motif. Body with green patina. Dimensions: 2. 1 cm.

- Two Byzantine rings: 5th century AD. - 8th century AD
Bronze ring elliptical head with flat hoop decorated forming a flower, in the center, remains of vitreous paste. The joint between the head and a section of the rim is loose. Nice dark green patina. Dimensions: 2. 4 cm.
Rectangular head copper alloy ring and hemispherical ring, lost decoration. The joint between the head and a section of the rim is broken. Dark green patina. Dimensions: 1. 7 cm.
No restorations. Given the age and delicacy of the pieces, each of the rings presents a different state of conservation from its drawings and/or details that they may have had in the past, including breakage of the ring, missing ring sections, wear of the drawings, etc

Current acquisition in Gallery specialized in Archeology and ancient art 2002.
Piece retains its original antique patina. No restorations.

See details and dimensions in attached photos. In good condition. Acquired in 2002 in a specialized gallery. A copy of the certificate/s of authenticity and a copy of the catalog are sent with the object/s.
