Ancient terracotta floor - Terracotta - Early 17th century
Extremely rare terracotta floor, handmade for important Italian monasteries. This floor is over 400 years old, it was carefully dismantled from a 17th century Italian monastery. It measures over 50 square meters. As shown in the photos, one tile is engraved with the date on which the floor was set, another bears the date of completion of the work, 1604. Dimensions: length varies from 32 to 33 cm, width from 16 to 17 cm , and the thickness from 2 cm to 2. 5. They are not perfect because they are handmade.
