ASIA MINOR. Uncertain mint. Ca. 240-180 BC. AR tetradrachm (30mm, 16.82 gm, 1h). NGC AU 5/5 - 4/5, Fine Style. Late posthumous issue in the name and types of Alexander III the Great of Macedon. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck / AΛEΞANΔPOY, Zeus seated left on backless throne, right leg drawn back, feet on ground line, eagle in outstretched right hand, grounded scepter in left; no visible series marks. Price -, cf. 2899 (dated year 20). HGC 3.1, 910. Hold notes that while this coin has no series marks the obverse is a die match to Pamphylia, Aspendus tetradrachm with a reverse die dated Civic Year 20 (ca. 193/2 BC(?)).
