Condition Report:
The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All functions are working properly. The dial with very minor wear at 3 and 8 o'clock. Signs of discolouration or dirt on the eyes. Glue residue can be seen along the edge of the inner bezel. The case is in excellent overall condition with hardly any signs of wear visible to the naked eye. The hand painted automaton scene is in excellent overall condition.

The Automaton Joker is the first collaboration between Svend Anderson, co-founder of the AHCI and Konstantin Chaykin, watchmaker and president of the AHCI. The dial is realised by Konstantin Chaykin, while the back automaton is developed by Andersen Genève. Showcasing an enigmatic Joker's face on the dial, the present watch tells time in a fascinating way, left eye as the hours, right eye as the minutes and the mouth as the moon phases. A button at 8 o'clock activates the hand painted automaton, depicting a game night's scene on the case back.

According to the brand, the Automaton Joker only had a production run for 20 pieces in pink gold. The present watch is number "0" and represents an extraordinary occasion to be offered in auction.
