Nymphes au bain (Île-de-France)

signé Derain (en bas à droite)
huile sur toile
89 x 116 cm; 35 x 45⅝ in.
Peint vers 1950-1952.

Condition Report:
The work has been examined framed. Canvas is not lined. There is paint shrinkage most predominantly located in the trees and craquelure mainly in the sky. There is a thick yellow varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating.
