This bronze sculpture is a unique maquette for the large scale elephant with an accordion that is part of the Delacorte Musical Clock in Central Park in Manhattan.
Medium: Patinated bronze
Size: 19" x 8" x 6.5" (including base); (48 x 20 x 17 cm)
Signature: Signed to paper label on underside
Condition: Very good original condition. Surface is generally clean and bright, with exception of some scattered areas of tarnishing, wear, and oxidation in the crevices. Sculpture is attached to a Mahogany base. Otherwise, no signs of any mishandling.
