Andrew Jackson Document Signed as President
Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 15.75 x 9.75, December 8, 1830. President Jackson grants John Lowry of Edgar County, Illinois, a parcel "at Palestine, Illinois, containing Eighty acres." Signed at the conclusion by President Jackson and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Elijah Heyward. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. In fine condition, with a few vertical folds.
