Provenance/Additional Info: 8” pitcher with transfer portraits of “General Jackson The Hero of New Orleans” on either side and a bunch of fruit beneath the spout, all against a tapering body in blue. Likely issued during the presidential campaign of 1824. Considered the most desirable style of Jackson pitchers issued for his presidential elections. Gorgeous condition. The only flaw an inconsequential 1/2” chip on the base. No cracks, repairs or restoration. The transfers are crisp and unmarred.
