A Russian verre eglomise table, the glass top with “The Virtue of Lucretia” after Jean-Guillaume Moitte in gild, black, green and blue, above of mahogany and brass inlaid frieze, front with drawer, ebony sable shaped legs, each with patinated bronze winged genii capitels and hoof endings. St. Petersburg, 20th century. H. 78 cm. L. 88 cm. W. 60 cm.

The original table at the Pavlovsk Palace in St. Petersburg designed by architect Andrey Nikiforovich Voronikhin (1759–1814) and made by Heinrich Gambs is placed in the bedroom of the private suite of Tsaritsa Maria Feodorovna (1759–1828, married to Tsar Paul I of Russia), which was decorated in 1805.
