Andy Warhol - "Andy Warhol - A Factory" - Promotional set (1999) Promotional memorabilia set created for the exhibition "Andy Warhol - A Factory", presented at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels from June 18 to September 19, 1999. It includes four promotional tins in screen-printed metal, available in different chromatic variations in the Pop Art aesthetic inspired by Andy Warhol's visual universe. These tins, produced as part of a communications operation with Le Matin newspaper and partner P&V / Cockerill Sambre, were intended for exhibition promotion and press relations. They are empty, unsigned, and do not constitute works published or validated by the Warhol Foundation. The set is accompanied by an original copy of the newspaper Le Matin, a special supplement dedicated to the exhibition, featuring iconography directly inspired by the artist's universe, as well as the promotional campaign associated with the boxes. Distributed over a limited period and geographically (Brussels, 1999), these items are of documentary and historical interest, focusing on the reception of Warhol's work and museum communication in the late 1990s. Complete sets of several boxes accompanied by the journal appear relatively infrequently on the market. Dimensions: not communicated. Visible soiling inside the boxes, edges slightly distorted. The newspaper is distorted and yellowed.
