Police Car
acrylic and silkscreen ink on canvas
11 by 14 in.
27.9 by 35.6 cm.

This work is stamped twice by the Estate of Andy Warhol and stamped twice by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc. and numbered PA 20.177 on the overlap and on the stretcher.

Condition Report:
This work is in very good condition overall. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. There is evidence of light wear and handling to the edges and corners, with associated minor rub marks near the lower right corner. There are two brown spot accretions, the first above the trunk of the police car and the second approximately 1 inch from the lower right edge. Under very close inspection, there is a vertical line in the upper right quadrant, which appears to be consistent with the artist's working method and screenprinting process. Under ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.
