VII. 1995) He was born in Olot in 1922 and was a student at the School of Fine Arts in that town from 1932, where he had as teachers I. Pascual, M. Domenge and M. Casadevall, among others. He worked in different religious statuary workshops in Olot until his retirement in 1982. The practice of art was his great passion, an activity that he always carried out outside working hours. His painting has an extraordinary spontaneity, with an admirable wealth of color ranges. His favorite subject was the landscape, always painted plein air, seen from an Impressionist orbit, with a constructive and loose brushstroke. During the artist's lifetime, his external projection was scarce. He died in his hometown in July 1995.
