Sceptre animated with a face Baule, Ivory Coast. First half of the 20th century. Wood and iron. Height: 32 cm; Width: 23 cm; Depth: 3. 5 cm. Ancient damages and cracks on the wood. This sceptre has a wonderful patina. Cylindrical handle, the lower part is hollowed, it ends into a finely incised head. Criss-cross hairdo, temple scarifications. Arched iron blade.
