Anna Sørensen (b. 1968)

Untitled. Signed Anna Sørensen, 105/110. Lithograph in colours. Sheet size 69×50 cm.

The Danish artist Anna Sørensen (b. 1968) lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sørensen is educated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The artist works intuitively with the collocation of lines, forms, and colors in her ceramic works as well as in her paintings. Sørensen’s paintings are inspired by the modern form principles and dualism. Space is suspended and everything is drawn forward in balanced, lyrical compositions. The contrasts create an enchanting harmony, wherein the correlation between a variety of forms and use of colors make the dense compositions vibrate and the details flow back and forth. Represented at Rammeværkstedet / Nielsen Rammer.

Condition: Examined in frame. Original condition.

The work is part of a charity auction to benefit “Børns Vilkår” (Children's Rights Denmark). The auction is initiated and curated by “Curated by Jens-Peter Brask”. The artists have generously donated their works. Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers do not charge fees or commission so the total proceeds will go undiminished to Børns Vilkår's important work.
