Stunning Annibale Colombo armoire desk secretary. Handcrafted in Italy in the French style, and includes dozens of interesting elements, including a split Neoclassical pediment to its summit with a central finial above two large doors which open to reveal 36 small compartments with removable wooden drawers and a central locking compartment with metal key. The middle section has six drawers, a central locking compartment with key, and a large hinged foldout desktop with decorative red and gold leather surface, and two extendable supporting arms. The lower section has three drawers, with manufacturers circular name crest and serial number B2546 inside. Good overall condition with working locks. Measures 8 ft. x 3 ft. 8 1/2 in.
