Ans van den Berg belongs to the Amsterdam Joffers, a group of women who specialized in painting still lifes and flowers in a smooth, impressionistic style. She was the only one of the Amsterdam Joffers who had not attended the academy, but had developed into a skilled artist through an apprenticeship in Paris. Ans van den Berg painted portraits and figures, Laren courtyards, but her preference was for flower still lifes.

Viewing is of course possible. We also have our own in-house frame shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. We also use restorers from the trade organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to use this, we would of course like to hear from you.
