Additional Information: A simply gorgeous 10kt Gold antique Sapphire and Seed Pearl pendant necklace, this piece is made with such precision and elegant lines. The pendant has two Seed Pearl drops with exquisitely graduated tiny Seed Pearls. The center of the pendant has sweeping lines and this necklace is likely a combination of Art Nouveau design and Art Deco necklace styling. Of course, while we like to categorize jewelry, jewelers were not likely ever aware of specific design elements being categorized as Art Deco or Art Nouveau, but were styling what seemed to sell at the time. The Seed Pearl design graduation continues in the center motif with a small antique tulip set Sapphire in the center. The closed bail on the pendant is marked 10k, as well as the spring ring closure on the chain. With a spring ring closure it is easier to expand the neckline or change the drop with the simple addition of a chain bracelet or extender with another spring ring closure. Also, the chain included with this pendant is a small rolo chain which is 15 ½” long and can easily be replaced with another longer chain. The bail on the pendant is fairly generous too. The drop is two inches long and ¾”wide. A very pretty lavaliere drop and a nice 10k rolo chain, both in excellent condition, this pendant can be worn alone, on another chain and with other chains as companion pieces. A beautiful antique 10k Gold Art Deco/Art Nouveau style pendant, this is an heirloom quality piece and a great piece to wear as well as add to any jewelry collection, or wardrobe.
