17th Century Latin printed book by Juan Osorio (Ioannes Osorius), "Concionum R.P. Ioannis Osorii Societatis Iesu, Tomus Quintus, a Dominica prima Adventus usque ad Pascha Resurrectionis, cum omnibus Ferys Quadragesimalibus" ( ~ "Fifth Volume of Sermons of the Most Reverend Father Juan Osorio of the Society of Jesus from the First Sunday of Advent to the Easter of the Resurrection, including all Lenten Feasts"). Religious book by a Jesuit priest printed in 1606 in Cologne (Colonia Agrippina), in the Holy Roman Empire (modern-day Germany). Book is a collection of speeches or sermons given on Sundays and feast days in the Roman Catholic liturgical calendar. The Book is written in Latin. Good/Fair condition, especially considering its age. The pages are in good condition, with some minor staining. Some foxing. Bound in leather, with embossed leather-over-board covers. Binding is stiff, but book does open enough to read.
