Original antique 1836 "The Blue's Quick Step” sheet music framed in the picture mat. Stone lithography [drawn on lithographic limestone] signed in plate, "G.J. Brown Invt." [the artist], "Moore's Lith. Boston, succr. to Pendleton," hand-colored.

9.5/8" x 13" [ 24.4cm x 36cm], some wear a few edge creases and soiling, very good condition. The picture mat is 13" x 17.3/4", very good condition.

"The Blue's Quick Step, as performed by the Boston Brass Band. Composed and Respectfully dedicated to Capt. James Hunt, Officers and Members of the Light Infantry Company Winslow Blues", by John Holloway, Boston. Published by C. Bradlee. Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1836 by John Ashton and Co in the Clerk's office of the District court of Massachusetts.
