Antique 19c Ingraham Oak Gingerbread Mantel Alarm Clock
This is a charming estate found antique mantel clock from Elias Ingraham Clock Company dating to the 19th century. The oak wooden case features ornate gingerbread style details and ornate gold colored accents to the glass panel. The 12 hour dial clock also has an alarm function. Accompanied by a key. 22 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 5". This clock weighs 7 lbs.
Condition Report: In overall very good cosmetic condition. There are some surface scratches and scattered nicks to the wood. The gilding on the glass is worn and lost in some areas. The dial is somewhat soiled and exhibits wear and losses. This condition is consistent with age and use. The alarm function is not currently working. The mechanism for the alarm winds, but the coil slips and does not hold. The clock winds and runs. It keeps time fairly well, only losing a few minutes over a 24 hour period.
