A very elegant and highly unusual oval desk inkstand with three stylish hand pierced inkwells for decoration. The central inkwell is crowned with a detachable cherub designed taperstick. The other two have a hand engraved family coat of arms for importance. The tray of the inkwell has beautiful fluting and is decorated throughout with exceptional hand engraving. There are three clear glass star cut liners with two silver additional quill holders all of which is detachable.
