Antique,1st Generation Colt SAA Revolver, .44/40 caliber, SN 78890, with factory letter that states 5 1/2" barrel, blue finish, type of stocks not listed but retains period one-piece walnut grips and much original finish. Shipped to Hartley & Graham, New York, New York, June 7, 1882 in a 15 gun shipment. Two line barrel address with panel marked, "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER". Excellent original condition showing much original blue with balance being light grey patina. Bore shows light pitting with strong action. Revolver will be sold with Colt factory letter.
