Description: An impressive size antique Maltese cross pin / pendant featuring approx. 7.0ctw of fine quality diamonds & 2.50ctw of vivid red natural rubies in a handcrafted mounting of 18k yellow gold with a silver top. The diamonds are a variety of old cut & modern brilliants, very white G-H color, VS to SI clarity stones with the largest old Euro at center an eye clean I/1, PLUS the beautiful natural fancy yellows! It has proper French hallmarks on the pin bar, so the mounting did test as 18k, but the added findings (bail & pin catch) are 14k. A genuine heirloom treasure!

Weight or Size of Gemstones: Thirty six 2.2-2.5mm round cut rubies + one 4.5mm old Euro & one hundred eight (92-white, 12-yellow) 1.8-3mm round old Euro, old mine & modern round brilliant cut diamonds totaling approx. 9.50ctw for all.

Condition Report: Seen only with 10x magnification a couple of stones have a minute / tiny surface reaching inclusion, all stones are intact & look fine. Mounting shows a minor bit of surface wear & some toning to the silver that just needs a buff / polish. Hinged bail, pin bar & catch all work properly. I say ready to wear.
