Antique African Ngbandi Tribal Spear

Antique Ngbandi spear is over 100 years old and originates from Northern Congo and was acquired from an old Belgian collection. The sword was collected in the 1920s colonial period. Measures approx 60" L overall when assembled. The spear comes apart in two pieces for shipping. The wrought iron forged blade measures approx 28 1/2" L and 2 1/2" W at the widest and spike handle end measures approx 32 1/2" L. The wood handle of this spear has iron spiral wrapping with forged iron reinforcement. Some of the iron wrapping is loose and missing. This spear has a decorated wooden handle as seen in photos. This spear is an authentic antique Ngbandi double pointed spear.
