Antique Akha Tribe Published Coin Decorated Woman's Headband, Circa 1920. Hand made; white cloth backed; red textile edging on the bottom; decorated in 75 hand-hammered concave silver metal disks in two horizontal rows that encircle the entire circumference of the head band; green, yellow, red, white, and orange trade seed beads; two cotton string streamers, one on the right and one of the left; and nine 5 Baht Thai coins depicting a Thai king. Collection catalogue number reads: “965a” and a circular red seal that reads: David Howard Tribal Art". {Approximate dimensions: 10 1/4 wide x 3 inches high.}.
