Antique Art Nouveau Pewter Inkwell Stand, 1880s, Maritime

Antique Art Nouveau pewter inkwell stand, 1880s-1910s, maritime design, unique artwork. The backside represents Poseidon's [or Neptune's] trident in the middle framed with two anchors and sea plants. The pewter lid of the glass inkwell is modeled as a frog residing on the water plants. The frog is only 3/4" [1.9cm] long. No markings. The green and white patinas match the age of the artifact and provide a nice antique look. The heavy solid glass inkwell is marked 'T', 'C' and '8'. There are several air bubbles enclosed in the glass.

The stand is 5.1/2" [14cm] tall to the top of the trident, c. 9.1/2" x 7.1/2" [24.2cm x 19cm]; except of metal aging [patina], the pewter inkwell stand and lid are in very good condition. The glass inkwell is in fine condition, no chips, no cracks.
