Antique Baccarat Blue Opaline Chandelier 12-Light

Large Baccarat Chandelier in blue opaline glass, with original hurricane lamps and hanging crystal prisms. The blue opaline glass features ornate gilded patterns that contrast beautifully with the rich blue color of the glass. This chandelier was made in France some time in the 1880s or 1890s. Half of the arms have been electrified, and the other half are already prepared for electrification.

This piece has a very authentic art nouveau feel to it with the swirled glass rods, and Victorian gilding on the hurricane and opaline glass. The metal to which the glass pieces are attached is monogrammed "B" in multiple places, which along with the style and craftsmanship leaves no doubt that this is an authentic Baccarat piece.

Condition Report: The glass is in extremely good condition, with no noticeable chips or cracks. The gilding is extremely intact, especially for the age of the piece. This piece come with all of the hanging prisms, however two are damaged and 5 are missing a wire piece to hang on the chandelier (the wire piece can be easily made or replaced). One clear glass ring is missing; the blue "bell" is with the chandelier but needs the ring to hang from.
