Antique Blue & White Porcelain Asian Moon Flask
An Asian porcelain moon flask vase. White porcelain with hand painted blue designs & glazed. Has decorative hand painted twin handles. The shape of the moon flask resembles a flower. The mouth of the vase is scalloped. The scenes on the front and back depict people in traditional clothing in nature settings. In one scene, two women are pulling a deer along on a cart. In the other scene, a woman converses with a man holding a knapsack. The sides of the vessel are patterned with floral motifs. The piece bears heavy pitting throughout all sides. Crazing throughout. The underside also has crazing and a blue material affixed to it. The piece has mild cracks on the handles. Approx. Height 9.5 in. Approx. Width 7.25 in.
