Antique Burmese Carved Wood Shesham Figural Jardiniere Stand, late 19th c., with a pierced floral carved top on a fanciful bird support, to a base with four carved crocodile feet, H.- 37 1/2 in., W.- 17 in., D.- 17 in.
Condition Report: Mostly structurally sound. Some minor looseness where standard meets base. Scattered wear and losses to dark finish. The base has glue residue around the feet as well as the skirting from earlier repair, as well as both wings. Overall minor chips, nicks, marks, abrasions and imperfections consistent with age and use. A stunning example.
