Antique Carved Resin & Wood Frame

Item/Description: Unique large decorative wood and resin antique picture frame. Rectangular in shape, it is composed of three sections. Outer perimeter decorated with ornate molding of carved resin molding of open piercework scroll design. Middle section is rounded wood with a stained/painted veneer in dark brown. The inner section has applied gilt wood beading. Unsigned, no visible markings.

Dimensions: Height: 27"; Width: 23"; Depth: 1 1/2".

Condition: Good. Surface and use wear includes scratches, areas of loss to molding, chipping to wood. No hanging hardware, no glass.

Age: 19th Century.
